The Windy City Team Race is a Team Race event held at Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club, Chicago, IL and sailed in Vanguard 15’s. This inaugural event is a US Sailing sanctioned qualifier for the US Team Race Championship for the George R. Hinman Trophy. This two day event will attract teams from across the country as they battle for the prized Hinman berth. Windy City Team Racing has partnered with Windy City Match Racing to promote Team and Match Racing in Chicago. Windy City Match Race is a sister event held in early September sailed in Farr 40’s. Both events share many common elements and in some cases, the competitors themselves.
Boat Charters
There are a limited number of private boats available for charter for the Windy City Team Race. The Regatta Chairman will provide contact info for interested parties but is not responsible for charter agreements, boat condition, or damage.
