The Hairy Scary Team race regatta at CYC Belmont was the best yet. The costumes where great. Due to an even number of boats we ended up having 2 on 2. Team racing. This worked out awesome, every race was decided on the final 50 yards from the finish, in fact you did not want to be leading the race at the leeward mark rounding. Scott Diamond was able to run 2 full round robins for 5 teams and a championship round of best out of three. Congratulations to the team of Lance & Ann Avery and Peter Horsh & Erika Seamon. Also we should mention the second place team of Amy Leenhouts & Bill ( Fletch) from California, Rory Lewis & Dan Burns, they won the most races through out the round robins.
