Spring Team Race Regatta- Notice of Race
June 4th-5th, 2005

RULES
The regatta will be governed by the 2005-2009 International Yacht Racing Rules, the prescriptions of US Sailing and the Vanguard 15 Class Association except as modified below or in sailing instructions. The sailing instructions will be made available at sign-in.
RACING
Racing will consist of two-on-two random pairs rotations. Depending on racing conditions and the number of yachts present, the fleet may be divided into upper and lower groups determined by the results of the first rotation(s). The final rounds may be two-on-two or three-on-three.
ELIGIBILITY
Anyone with a Vanguard 15 for the weekend is eligible. You do not need to organize a team! Just show up. Regatta Fee is $25 per boat.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Saturday: Registration: 8:30-9:45am
Competitors meeting: 10am
First warning: 11am
Sunday: First warning: 10:30am. No race shall start after 1:30pm.ENTERTAINMENT
There will be a party at CCYC after racing on Saturday. Food and beer will be provided.
REGATTA SITE and RACING AREA
The regatta site will be the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club, Chicago, IL.
The racing area will be offshore in the vicinity of Montrose Harbor.
Final location will be in the sailing instructions.SCORING
All yachts will be scored individually in each race with a win or a loss. Final scoring will be by winning percentage, not total number of wins. Ties will be broken in the order of total number of wins, then head-to-head record.
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded following the final tabulating of all races in the regatta.
