1. Eligibility

  1. A person (skipper or crew) must sail at least one of the five regattas to be eligible for the High Point Series Championship.
  2. Both skippers and crews are eligible for the season championship.

2. Scoring

  1. Each person (skipper or crew) will be awarded points for each regatta they enter. Points will be awarded based on the number of boats entered in each regatta. Each entrant will earn points for the number of entrants they beat + 1. (i.e. - if there are 20 boats entered in a regatta, first place will earn 20 points, second place 19 points, ., and last place 1 point).
  2. Each person (skipper or crew) may count his or her scores from 3 regattas. If more than 3 regattas are sailed, the one's with the lowest points will be dropped from the championship total.
  3. The Southern Lake Michigan Vanguard 15 Summer High Point Series Championship will be awarded to the person who accumulates the most points in the 3 of the 5 regattas.

3. Tiebreakers Ties will be broken according to the following criteria

  1. The person who beat the other person more at regattas they both attended.
  2. The person with the greater number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, . finishes at regattas.
  3. The person who can finish their beer in the least amount of time.

4. Awards

Time and place to be determined. Awards will be given at the discretion of the High Point Committee.
